REGIONAL MARRIAGE CHAMPION

Job Description:

Live The Life Northwest Florida is seeking a part-time or full-time Marriage Champion residing in the  Walton County area. With the lofty but achievable goal of reducing the divorce rate in Florida by 50% by 2029, Live The Life is seeking an individual with a passion for marriage and family values to join our team in the western panhandle and assist us in expanding our mission into Walton County. This individual must possess deep ties to the community including, but not limited to the church community. This position is part-time. 

Responsibilities:

• Work with local churches to develop/strengthen marriage ministries

• Serve as main point of contact for all communications in Walton County

• Create and/or foster relationships with churches and secular organizations such as local governments, schools, industry and military to promote Adventures In Marriage (AIM) workshops – as well as other marriage and family programs

• Make presentations to all above institutions to gain buy-in for conducting AIM workshops and other programs

• Serve as main facilitator for AIM workshops in Walton County

• Develop a cadre of workshop presenters and coaches, mainly on a volunteer basis

• Mobilize church leaders to form an area roundtable to share best practices in marriage ministry

• Participate in all team and corporate meetings (majority via the ZOOM platform)

• Identify talent for possible future area expansion of team as needed

Requirements:

• Demonstrable passion for marriage and family ministry

• Deep ties and connections within the religious community and the secular community

• Ability to deliver content in an engaging, enthusiastic manner

• Comfortable interacting with people in leadership or decision-making roles (religious and secular)

• Able to work as an integral part of a team who all share the same values and passion for marriage and family

• Position is home-based with frequent travel within Walton County
